Do I need a visa to visit Turkey?

Yes, travelers are required to obtain an entry visa before arriving in Turkey. Follow these three steps to apply:

  1. Apply online at the official e-Visa website: https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/
  2. Make the payment using a credit card during the application process.
  3. Download and print your e-Visa to present to immigration officers upon arrival.

Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.

Book flights that align with the start and end points of your itinerary to avoid unnecessary layovers and baggage rechecking. If your international flight arrives and departs from Istanbul, but your tour concludes in another city such as Cappadocia or Antalya, a domestic flight can be arranged upon request.

No, but we recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover medical expenses, trip cancellations, lost luggage, and travel disruptions.

Accommodations are selected based on quality, service, and location. Options include boutique hotels, cave hotels, and well-reviewed properties that align with the designed itinerary. Selections are based on preferences and availability.

Room Policy: All trips are priced based on 2 people sharing a room (double occupancy).  

Private, air-conditioned, and well-maintained vehicles are used. The type of vehicle depends on the group size:

  • Vito or similar vehicles for small groups.
  • Larger private vehicles can be arranged for groups of 10 or more upon request.

What types of boat experiences are available?

Yes, boat experiences range from private luxury yachts in Istanbul to traditional gulet wooden yachts along the Mediterranean coast, which are typically arranged as shared cruises, with private options available upon request.

Yes, if required for the itinerary. All internal flight bookings and logistics are arranged as part of the service.

Flight delays are not the responsibility of Adventus. If a flight is diverted due to weather conditions, the airline or airport authorities arrange necessary transfers. We stay in contact with the airport and monitor any changes.

Most airlines allow 25kg of checked luggage and 8kg of carry-on. Excess baggage fees apply and vary by airline. If you anticipate overweight baggage, notify us in advance to allow extra check-in time.

Yes. Adventus offers reservations for an ultra-comfort hot air balloon flight in Cappadocia. The flight accommodates 16 people in a 24-person basket and lasts 75–90 minutes. It includes an open buffet breakfast before the flight and private hotel transfers. Availability depends on weather conditions.

Yes. We arrange private yacht cruises, fine-dining experiences, archaeological site visits, and other exclusive activities upon request.

The Turkish Lira (TRY) is the local currency. Credit cards (Visa/Mastercard) are widely accepted. ATMs are available for cash withdrawals.

  • For major expenses: Credit cards are widely accepted.
  • For tipping and small purchases: Carry some cash, especially in markets or rural areas.

Tipping is not mandatory but is appreciated. Recommended amounts:

  • Guides: $10–20 per person per day
  • Drivers: $5–10 per person per day
  • Restaurants: 5–10% of the bill (cash preferred)
  • Spring/Autumn: Light layers, comfortable walking shoes.
  • Summer: Lightweight clothing, sun protection.
  • Winter: Warm layers, especially for Cappadocia and inland regions.

Yes. When visiting mosques:

  • Women should cover their hair, shoulders, and legs.
  • Men should wear long pants.
  • Scarves are available at mosque entrances.
