Terms and Conditions

Adventus Travel Company
Operated by Adventus Turizm ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi
Last Updated: September 20, 2026

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before confirming a booking with Adventus Travel Company (“Adventus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

These Terms and Conditions, together with your confirmed itinerary, booking confirmation, invoice, and any specific conditions communicated in writing for your reservation, form the agreement between Adventus and the person making the booking (“you,” “guest,” or “participant”).

By confirming a reservation and making the required payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring that all participants included in the reservation are informed of the applicable booking conditions. Certain individual rights or consents, including consent relating to personal data or the use of identifiable photographs, must be provided separately by each participant where required by applicable law.

1. Booking Confirmation

A reservation becomes confirmed when Adventus receives the required deposit or full payment and confirms the booking in writing.

Following confirmation, Adventus will provide the relevant booking documentation, which may include the confirmed itinerary, invoice, accommodation details, transportation arrangements, and other travel information.

Guests are responsible for reviewing all booking documents carefully and notifying Adventus promptly of any errors or discrepancies.

Failure to review the documentation does not, by itself, release a guest from obligations arising under a confirmed booking, except where otherwise provided by applicable law.

2. Payments and Accepted Methods

Accepted Payment Methods

Adventus currently accepts:

  • Credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and other supported providers
  • Bank transfer

Additional payment methods may be offered where agreed in writing.

Currency and Transaction Fees

Payments will be processed in the currency stated on the invoice, which may include EUR, USD, or TRY, as agreed at the time of booking.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law or specifically agreed by Adventus, guests are responsible for exchange-rate differences, intermediary bank charges, international transfer fees, and charges imposed by their own financial institution.

Payment Schedule

Unless different terms are specified in the booking confirmation:

  • Daily Tours: Full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Multi-Day Tours of up to 3 Days: A 50% deposit is required at booking. The remaining balance is payable upon arrival on the first day of the tour.
  • Tours Longer Than 3 Days: A 50% deposit is required at booking. The remaining balance is due no later than 21 days before departure.
  • Bookings Made Within 7 Days of Departure: Full payment is required at the time of booking.

A booking is not considered confirmed until the required payment has been received and Adventus has issued written confirmation.

Failure to pay the remaining balance by the applicable due date may be treated as a cancellation by the guest, subject to applicable law and the cancellation conditions of the booking.

3. Pricing and Price Adjustments

Prices are based on the services, number of participants, travel dates, accommodation category, transportation arrangements, entrance fees, supplier rates, taxes, and other components specified in the confirmed itinerary.

Before a booking is confirmed, Adventus may revise a quotation due to changes in supplier rates, availability, taxes, transportation costs, exchange rates, or other operational factors.

Once a booking has been confirmed, the agreed price will not be increased except where a price adjustment is expressly permitted under applicable law.

Where a booking qualifies as a package tour under Turkish law, any price adjustment after confirmation will be subject to the conditions and limitations imposed by applicable package-tour legislation, including applicable requirements concerning the reason, amount, calculation, and timing of the adjustment.

Any optional service requested by the guest after confirmation may be charged separately.

4. Booking and Itinerary Modifications

Guests may request modifications to a confirmed itinerary. All requests are subject to availability, operational feasibility, and the conditions of hotels, airlines, transportation companies, guides, activity providers, and other suppliers.

Requests made more than 60 days before departure will normally be accommodated where reasonably possible.

Changes requested within 60 days of departure may result in additional charges, particularly where suppliers have already confirmed or prepaid services.

Any additional cost resulting from a guest-requested change will be communicated before the change is confirmed whenever reasonably possible.

Adventus may make reasonable changes to the order, timing, accommodation, transportation, guide, restaurant, attraction, or other elements of an itinerary where necessary due to weather, safety considerations, road conditions, closures, local regulations, supplier availability, operational necessity, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where reasonably possible, Adventus will provide an alternative of comparable nature and standard.

If a proposed change constitutes a material change under applicable package-tour or consumer law, the guest will retain all rights provided by applicable law.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation conditions may differ depending on whether the booking consists of a daily tour, standalone travel service, accommodation, transportation service, or a package tour.

Any booking-specific cancellation terms will be stated in the proposal, itinerary, invoice, booking confirmation, or other written booking documentation and will form part of the agreement.

Package Tours

Where a booking qualifies as a package tour under applicable Turkish consumer legislation, the guest retains all mandatory cancellation and refund rights provided by law.

In particular, where applicable:

  • A cancellation submitted at least 30 days before the scheduled beginning of the package tour will be handled in accordance with the statutory refund provisions applicable to package tours.
  • A cancellation submitted less than 30 days before departure may be subject to reasonable cancellation charges specified in the applicable booking conditions.
  • Where a guest cancels within 30 days because of an unforeseeable and unavoidable event or force majeure despite having exercised reasonable care, deductions will be limited to amounts permitted by applicable law, including qualifying non-refundable and documented third-party costs where applicable.
  • Statutory refunds will be processed within the legally required period.

Standalone Services and Other Bookings

For reservations that do not constitute a package tour, the cancellation policy stated in the booking confirmation will apply, subject to mandatory consumer rights.

Airline tickets, individually booked accommodation, special-event reservations, balloon flights, private activities, and other third-party services may be subject to supplier-specific cancellation and refund rules.

Adventus will communicate material non-refundable conditions before confirmation whenever reasonably possible.

Refund processing times may also depend on banks, card providers, and other financial institutions outside Adventus’ control.

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory cancellation or refund right granted to the guest under applicable law.

6. Transfer of a Package Tour Booking

Where permitted by applicable package-tour legislation, a participant who is unable to travel may transfer the package-tour agreement to another person who satisfies all conditions applicable to the tour.

The transfer request must be submitted to Adventus in writing within the period prescribed by applicable law.

The transferring and receiving participants may be responsible for the outstanding balance and the actual and reasonable additional costs resulting from the transfer, to the extent permitted by law.

Certain airline tickets, named reservations, permits, or supplier services may not be transferable.

7. Force Majeure and Extraordinary Circumstances

Adventus will not be responsible for failure, delay, or changes to travel arrangements resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, subject always to any mandatory rights available to guests under applicable law.

Such circumstances may include, without limitation:

  • Natural disasters
  • Earthquakes, floods, wildfires, or severe weather
  • Government actions or travel restrictions
  • Political or civil disturbances
  • Strikes
  • Transportation disruptions
  • Airport or airspace closures
  • Public health emergencies
  • Unexpected closure of archaeological sites, museums, roads, or attractions
  • Other unforeseeable and unavoidable events outside Adventus’ reasonable control

Where such circumstances affect a confirmed itinerary, Adventus will make reasonable efforts to provide suitable alternatives and assistance.

Refunds relating to third-party services will depend on applicable law and, where permitted, the refundability of the relevant supplier arrangements.

8. Guest Responsibilities

Guests are responsible for ensuring that they meet all applicable travel requirements, including:

  • Holding a passport with sufficient validity
  • Obtaining required visas, permits, or entry documentation
  • Complying with immigration, customs, health, and local regulations
  • Arriving on time for scheduled transfers, tours, flights, activities, and other services
  • Following reasonable safety instructions given by guides, drivers, accommodation providers, or activity operators
  • Providing accurate booking and contact information

Adventus strongly recommends comprehensive travel insurance covering medical treatment, emergency assistance, trip interruption, cancellation, baggage, personal liability, and other appropriate risks.

Unless a service is expressly included in the confirmed itinerary, guests remain responsible for their personal expenses.

9. Health, Dietary and Accessibility Information

Guests should inform Adventus before travel of any relevant dietary restrictions, allergies, mobility limitations, accessibility requirements, or other circumstances that may reasonably affect the organisation or safe delivery of the agreed services.

Adventus will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests but cannot guarantee that every destination, archaeological site, hiking route, accommodation property, restaurant, vehicle, or third-party facility will be fully accessible or capable of accommodating every requirement.

Guests remain responsible for determining, where appropriate in consultation with a qualified professional, whether a particular activity is suitable for them.

10. Optional Activities and Third-Party Services

Optional activities that are not included in the confirmed itinerary may be arranged at the guest’s request.

Adventus works with independent suppliers including hotels, airlines, transportation companies, licensed guides, restaurants, balloon operators, activity providers, museums, and other travel-service providers.

The legal responsibility of Adventus and of individual suppliers will be determined in accordance with the nature of the booking and applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts Adventus’ responsibility where such responsibility cannot legally be excluded or restricted, including responsibilities imposed on package-tour organisers or intermediaries under applicable consumer legislation.

Guests may also be required to comply with reasonable terms, safety rules, and operating conditions imposed by individual service providers.

11. Photography, Video and Media Use

Photographs and videos may occasionally be taken during Adventus tours and experiences, including photographs taken by Adventus team members, guides, or authorised photographers.

Guests may inform the guide or Adventus at any time if they prefer not to be photographed.

Where a guest is identifiable in a photograph or video and Adventus wishes to use that material for promotional, editorial, or corporate communication purposes, including publication on the official Adventus Travel website or other Adventus-controlled media channels, such use will be carried out only where Adventus has an appropriate lawful basis under applicable data-protection and personality-rights legislation.

Where consent is relied upon, consent will be voluntary and separate from the purchase of the tour. Refusing consent will not affect the guest’s booking, itinerary, price, or the quality of services provided.

A guest may withdraw previously granted media-use consent by contacting Adventus at info@adventustravel.com. Following a valid withdrawal request, Adventus will cease future use and, where reasonably and technically possible, remove the relevant material from channels under its control.

Consent provided by the person making the booking does not automatically constitute consent on behalf of other adult participants.

For minors, any required consent must be provided by a parent or legal guardian in accordance with applicable law.

12. Personal Data and Privacy

Adventus may collect and process personal information reasonably necessary to arrange and deliver travel services, process payments, communicate with guests, meet legal obligations, coordinate with suppliers, provide assistance, and administer reservations.

Personal information will be processed in accordance with applicable data-protection legislation, including Türkiye’s Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data where applicable.

Where required, personal data may be shared with hotels, licensed guides, airlines, transportation providers, activity operators, payment providers, public authorities, or other suppliers where necessary for the performance of the booked services or another lawful purpose.

Where personal-data processing requires explicit consent, that consent will be obtained separately where required by applicable law.

13. Liability

Adventus will perform its contractual obligations with reasonable care and in accordance with applicable Turkish tourism and consumer legislation.

Where a booking qualifies as a package tour, Adventus’ responsibility for the proper performance of the contracted package services will be determined in accordance with the mandatory provisions of applicable package-tour legislation.

Adventus will not be responsible, to the extent permitted by law, for losses resulting from:

  • The guest’s own act, omission, or failure to follow reasonable instructions
  • An unforeseeable and unavoidable act of a third party who is not connected with the performance of the contracted travel services
  • Force majeure or extraordinary circumstances beyond reasonable control
  • Events that could not have been foreseen or prevented despite the exercise of reasonable care

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability or guest right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

14. Complaints and Problems During Travel

If a problem arises during a tour, the guest should notify the Adventus guide, representative, or office as soon as reasonably possible so that we have an opportunity to investigate and attempt to resolve the matter during the trip.

Guests are encouraged to provide sufficient information to enable Adventus to address the issue effectively.

Any unresolved post-tour complaint should preferably be submitted in writing within 30 days after completion of the relevant service to:

info@adventustravel.com

A delay in submitting a complaint will not extinguish any mandatory statutory right that cannot legally be waived or restricted.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions and bookings made with Adventus are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection provisions that may apply.

Guests retain access to any consumer dispute-resolution mechanism, Consumer Arbitration Committee, mediation procedure, consumer court, or other competent authority available to them under applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive a consumer of a jurisdictional or procedural right that cannot legally be waived.

For disputes that are not subject to mandatory consumer-jurisdiction rules, the competent courts and enforcement offices of Nevşehir, Türkiye may have jurisdiction to the extent permitted by law.
