Born in Istanbul and originally from Erzincan, Kadir brings together an uncommon combination of technical education, linguistic ability, and deep cultural curiosity. His journey toward guiding was shaped by a lifelong interest in history, archaeology, mythology, and the human stories that connect places to people.

After completing eight years of education at Istanbul’s Saint-Benoît French High School, he pursued Industrial Engineering at Yıldız Technical University. His passion for languages and cultural exchange later led him toward professional tour guiding, where he combined analytical thinking with his fascination for civilizations and heritage.

Kadir studied English, French, and Spanish before graduating from Cappadocia University’s Department of Tourism Guidance. Fluent in three foreign languages, he specializes in interpreting Türkiye’s cultural landscapes through history, traditions, and everyday life.

Having lived in Cappadocia for more than fifteen years, Kadir has developed a deep understanding of the region beyond its famous landmarks. His early experiences in ceramic studios and artisan workshops introduced him to local craftsmanship and traditional production methods, perspectives that continue to enrich the experiences he designs for travelers.

Known for his calm presence, thoughtful conversations, and genuine hospitality, Kadir believes meaningful travel emerges through human connections and cultural understanding. His tours are carefully paced and personally curated, encouraging travelers to discover not only destinations but also the people and traditions that sustain them.

Outside guiding, he enjoys ceramic design, woodworking, and long walks in nature, interests that further strengthen his appreciation for creativity, craftsmanship, and the rhythms of local life.
