Cappadocia to Fethiye: Heritage & Turquoise Coast

After breakfast, meet your private guide at your hotel in Cappadocia and begin the drive across Central Anatolia.

The first visit is Çatalhöyük, one of the world’s earliest known settlements and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the archaeological site with your guide and learn how its communities lived more than 9,000 years ago.

After the visit, stop for lunch before continuing toward Beyşehir.

In the afternoon, visit Eşrefoğlu Mosque, a UNESCO-listed 13th-century mosque known for its wooden columns, timber roof, and exceptional Seljuk craftsmanship.

Continue through the lake district to Eğirdir, where the day ends beside one of Türkiye’s largest freshwater lakes.

After breakfast, depart from Eğirdir and travel south toward the Taurus Mountains.

The first visit is Sagalassos Ancient City, a remarkably preserved mountain settlement overlooking the valleys of southwestern Anatolia. Explore the Upper Agora, Antonine Fountain, Roman Baths, and other major remains while learning about the city’s development during the Roman period.

Stop for lunch before continuing toward Antalya.

In the afternoon, visit Termessos Ancient City, dramatically positioned high in the Taurus Mountains. Follow the mountain trail through the ruins to the theater and other surviving structures, with wide views across the surrounding landscape.

Continue to Antalya and check into your hotel in Kaleiçi, the historic old town.

After breakfast, begin the morning with a relaxed walk through Kaleiçi, Antalya’s historic old town. Explore its narrow streets and old harbor area, with time for a coffee before leaving the city.

Continue along the Mediterranean coast to Göynük Canyon. Spend time walking through the canyon and enjoying its mountain scenery, clear water, and forested surroundings.

After lunch, travel south toward Olympos Ancient City.

Explore Olympos in the late afternoon, when the temperature begins to soften and the archaeological site takes on a quieter atmosphere. Walk through the remains of the ancient Lycian city before continuing toward the nearby coast around sunset.

The day ends in Çıralı, a small Mediterranean village between the mountains and the sea.

After breakfast, depart from Çıralı and board your private boat for a full day along the Mediterranean coast.

Cruise west toward Kaş, following a quieter section of the Lycian coastline that is best experienced from the sea. The day is deliberately relaxed, with swimming stops in selected bays and time to enjoy the water away from the busier beaches.

Lunch is served on board during the cruise.

The afternoon continues at an easy pace, with additional swimming stops depending on sea and weather conditions. There is no fixed sightseeing schedule today, allowing more time for the coastline, the sea, and life on board.

As evening approaches, the boat anchors in a suitable bay for the night.

Wake up on the Mediterranean and enjoy breakfast on board as the private boat approaches Kaş.

After arriving in Kaş, meet your private vehicle and continue along the Lycian coast toward Patara Ancient City.

Explore Patara, one of the most important cities of ancient Lycia. Walk through the main archaeological area, including the Roman theater, ancient parliament building, colonnaded street, and other remains that reflect the city’s political and maritime importance.

After the visit, stop for lunch before continuing to Kalkan.

Arrive in Kalkan in the afternoon and enjoy the remainder of the day at your own pace. The old town, small harbor, cafés, and waterfront provide a relaxed end to the day after the previous night’s boat experience.

After breakfast, depart from Kalkan and continue toward Saklıkent Canyon.

Spend the morning exploring Saklıkent, walking through the cool river passage between its steep canyon walls. The route can be adjusted according to water conditions and your preferred activity level.

Continue toward the coast and stop at the panoramic viewpoint above Butterfly Valley. Take time to enjoy the view across the bay and surrounding cliffs before continuing for lunch.

The afternoon is reserved for Ölüdeniz Beach, with time to swim, relax by the sea, and enjoy the coastline at an unhurried pace.

Stay in Ölüdeniz for sunset before continuing to Fethiye for dinner at the Fethiye Fish Market, where fresh seafood can be selected from local fishmongers and prepared at one of the surrounding restaurants.

After dinner, return to your hotel.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before check-out.

At the scheduled time, your private driver will meet you at the hotel for the transfer from Ölüdeniz to Dalaman Airport.

The tour concludes upon arrival at the airport.
