The Istanbul Ephesus Pamukkale Tour is a six-day private itinerary for travelers who want to experience three of Türkiye’s most important cultural destinations without turning the trip into a sequence of rushed transfers and frequent hotel changes. Three days in Istanbul are followed by a morning flight to İzmir, while Şirince serves as a comfortable base for the Ephesus and Pamukkale sections.
As part of our wider collection of Private Turkey Tours, the program combines private guiding and transportation with a route designed around time, continuity, and guest comfort. Istanbul receives enough time for both its major monuments and historic neighborhoods, the morning flight preserves a full day for the Aegean, and the Şirince base avoids unnecessary check-in and check-out routines.
The first three days combine Istanbul’s Byzantine and Ottoman heritage with experiences that reveal the city beyond its principal monuments. Topkapı Palace and the Imperial Harem, Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and Basilica Cistern form the historical core of the program.
Fener and Balat introduce a different side of the city through their streets, religious landmarks, and layered neighborhood history. A traditional Turkish bath, time in the historic bazaars, and a sunset cruise on the Bosphorus balance the sightseeing program with experiences connected to everyday Istanbul.
A morning flight to İzmir on Day 4 avoids losing an entire day to overland travel. From İzmir, the route continues to Şirince, which remains the base throughout the Aegean section.
Ephesus Ancient City and the Terrace Houses form the archaeological heart of this part of the tour. The route also includes the House of the Virgin Mary, Temple of Artemis, and Basilica of St. John.
Local cuisine, regional wine culture, and time along the Aegean coast provide a natural counterbalance to the archaeological visits. When available, evening access to Ephesus can also be incorporated without unnecessarily repeating the daytime program.
The final day is dedicated to Hierapolis and Pamukkale. Entering Hierapolis from the northern side allows the ancient city to unfold gradually, beginning with the necropolis and continuing through its monumental areas before reaching the museum, Antique Pool, and travertines.
The route can be expanded or simplified according to individual interests and preferred pace. Additional village, craftsmanship, or regional wine experiences may be included when appropriate, while guests seeking a lighter final day can remain focused on Hierapolis and Pamukkale.
This itinerary is particularly suitable for travelers visiting Türkiye for the first time who want Istanbul, Ephesus, and Pamukkale within one private program, but do not want every day to consist solely of intensive sightseeing.
It also works well for couples, families, and culturally curious travelers who value historical context, local food, regional traditions, and a stable travel pace. The private format allows the daily program to be adjusted where practical without losing the overall structure of the route.
After breakfast at the hotel, meet your private guide and begin the day at Topkapı Palace, the administrative and residential center of the Ottoman Empire for centuries.
Continue through the Imperial Harem, exploring the private quarters used by the Ottoman royal family and members of the palace household.
After lunch, walk through the historic Hippodrome, once the center of public life and imperial ceremonies in Constantinople, before visiting the Blue Mosque.
The day concludes with a traditional Turkish bath experience, offering time to slow down after the first day of sightseeing.

Fantastic tour, A mixture of sights, culture, and Cappadocian hospitality. The tour I did was customised to a 4 day tour adding elements from the range of tours offered by the company. My Tour leader Nisa or “B” as I called her was a local and it made such a difference. We were able to dodge around the crowds as she knew local shortcuts and people. We were able to meet and eat with the locals and enjoy their hospitality. We went off the beaten tourist track sometimes, and when the weather didn’t quite play nice, we adjusted accordingly. One of the greatest moments was drinking tea with one of the cavehouse owners and also having a lunch with a local couple. “B” has great suggestions for places to go to watch the sunset and also local restaurants. We went to local market and a stall keeper had me trying my haggling skills to sell him something!! It was more like visiting family and seeing the sights than going on a small tour! Our driver was efficient and safe and the van was immaculate. I will be back!
We booked a private tour with Adventus and it was hands down the highlight of our trip to Cappadocia – Right from a comfortable car , safe driver to a knowledgeable guide – It was a great experience!! Our guide, Nisa, was incredibly knowledgeable, easygoing, and made everything feel seamless. What really stood out was how they customized the entire experience to match our interests—it felt personal rather than scripted. Absolutely worth it. If you’re planning a trip, don’t miss booking with Adventus!
We had the great privilege to discover Cappadocia with the greatest guides of all times Nisa, and we had the chance to see the region through the eyes of a local who loves her region and heritage. Nisa was captivating with her great explanations, her humor and passion as they say in Turkiye “iyi ki” she was our guide

When we arrived in cappadocia, we didn’t have many plans. We had an airport pickup and just wanted to see the balloons. In spite of the balloons being cancelled both days we were there, Buket made our experience an unforgettable one. We were a group of 15, and that is like herding cats, but Buket made us feel special and taken care of like kids of her own. We have unforgettable memories and amazing photos. We did both the green line and red line tours with her. We also loved the ATV experience , that was the peak. She is very knowledgeable and we learned so much about the past and the culture of the area. I would recommend her again and again.
