Born and raised in Ürgüp, in the heart of Cappadocia, Kutluhan developed an early fascination with history, landscapes, and the stories that shape human connections with place. Growing up among Cappadocia’s valleys, rock-cut settlements, and living traditions gave him a deeply personal relationship with the region’s cultural heritage.

Part of his education took him to the United Kingdom during his high school years, an experience that broadened his perspective and strengthened his appreciation for cultural diversity and international exchange. He later continued his studies in Eskişehir and Nevşehir before completing the professional qualifications required to become a licensed tour guide.

Although Cappadocia remains his home and principal area of expertise, Kutluhan has travelled extensively throughout Türkiye and visited more than fifteen countries. These experiences have reinforced his belief that meaningful travel emerges through curiosity, cultural understanding, and authentic encounters.

His approach to guiding is grounded in accuracy, preparation, and intellectual integrity. He places particular importance on well-researched interpretation and believes that historical sites deserve to be understood within their broader cultural and human context.
