Professional Tour Guide
Şennur is a national professional tourist guide with nearly two decades of experience interpreting Türkiye’s history, culture, and everyday life for travelers from around the world.
A graduate of Selçuk University’s Department of Tourism Guidance, she has spent her career helping visitors move beyond monuments and landmarks to discover the human stories that give places their meaning.
Having lived in Istanbul for more than twenty-seven years, Şennur knows the city both as a resident and as a guide. Her perspective extends from its celebrated landmarks to its lesser-known neighborhoods, local traditions, and everyday rhythms, allowing travelers to experience Istanbul with greater depth and authenticity.
Her professional interests extend far beyond Istanbul. Having explored Türkiye extensively from Edirne in the west to Kars in the east, she brings a broad understanding of the country’s regional identities, cultural diversity, and historical layers.
Known for her calm presence and engaging storytelling, Şennur believes that meaningful travel emerges through curiosity and human connection. Her tours are thoughtfully paced, detail-oriented, and designed to help travelers understand not only what they are seeing, but why it matters.
Outside guiding, she enjoys reading, researching new subjects, and continually expanding her knowledge to enrich the experiences she designs. She also has a deep appreciation for Turkish cuisine and enjoys introducing travelers to the local flavors and culinary traditions that shape daily life across Türkiye.
